MISSION STATEMENT
“Play Hard, Have Fun”
The Long Beach Blaze (LBB) travel baseball team is committed to providing
a quality traveling baseball experience for your child. We want to create
an environment of healthy competition in which we can help your child develop
athletic abilities, a sense of teamwork, self-confidence, self-discipline
and sportsmanship. We are an EXTREMELY family oriented team, which means
our parents are as important to us as our players.
We want you to know that your child’s well being is as important
to us as their abilities; so we will strive for safety, doing everything
possible to prevent injury to any player by not putting them into situations
where there may be an obvious risk of injury.
We’ve been around baseball long enough to know that on any given
day, it is not the best team that wins, but the team that plays best.
Therefore we emphasize FUNDAMENTAL baseball skills, HARD work, and of
course FUN. We like to constantly raise the bar for our players and continually
push them to improve beyond what even they think they can achieve.
Please understand that as a travel team playing in highly competitive
situations, every player will not necessarily have equal playing time,
nor will every player get to play in the position of his own choosing.
As coaches we will position players, both in the lineup and on the field,
based upon their current performance as well as what is best for the team.
We truly want our kids to ENJOY their Long Beach Blaze baseball experience.
